We booked the 2 hour South tour 30 minutes before the tour started as we were walking past it just a few minutes after getting off the Celebrity Edge. It was $25 per person The tour took us through the salt fields, showed us the huts where slaves stayed, we drove past flamingos and other wild life, and ended up seeing a beautiful beach along with an area where people wind surfed. The guide was very informative and never rushed us.

I had a group of 13 people. Most of them first time cruisers. Since we were stopping in Bonaire on New Year’s Day I was worried maybe nothing would be open. When I emailed Explorer Tours I heard back right away that they could accommodate all of us in an air conditioned 15 passenger van. The cost was $30 per person. I was prepared to put down a deposit but I was told no need. They would meet us at the pier and we could pay in cash then. Alberto was waiting for us just like they said. He greeted all of us, showed us a map of what we would be seeing and then drove us and answered all of our many questions. He was fantastic!! Our age group was 14-60 and all were interested in all the sites. Alberto let us set the pace, when some asked to stop for a restroom break he took us to the perfect spot. At the end of the tour some of us got dropped off at the beach and others went back to the ship. Alberto was very prompt in picking up the beach goers. Later back on the ship as we went over the hi lights of the cruise we all agreed Bonaire and our tour with Alberto was #1!

Llegué a Bonaire sin ninguna expectativa, no había ni entrado a internet a investigar, me encontré apenas bajé del crucero con varias agencias de tours, decidí irme con Explorer Tours Bonaire, me atendió Andreina Marcano, una excelente guía, la verdad la recomiendo 100%, explica a la perfección todo lo relacionado a la isla, no soy de dar reviews, pero le pedí una tarjeta para recomendarla, la verdad fue una excelente experiencia.

We had a great time with Alberto. We had 11 people from age 75 to 14. The van was very comfortable and with great air condition. My wife and I had taken a similar tour several years ago and Alberto was able to show us a number of sites we had not seen before. Alberto was very knowledgeable about the island, but I think his greatest attribute was flexibility. He listened to the group and was willing to adapt the tour to our requests. Good time had by all.

I did a cruise around several islands in the Caribbean and the best one was Bonaire. This happened thanks to Explorer Tours Bonaire, with whom I was able to get to know the island completely, in a comfortable way and served in an excellent way. The guides are wonderful, the vehicles are in excellent condition, the places we visit, etc. I recommend them 100% !!!
